My sister gave me her niece for a few days, so I thought I would make use of the little terror and do some baking. Baking is a bit of an indulgence, especially for someone like me who survives mainly on food I don't have to prepare. Unless there is an occasion involved I don't think I would even attempt to bake a cake; especially knowing that in the unlikely event that I did succeed, I would probably scoff the lot straight out of the oven, when the sponge is all warm and yummy...
