A writer jots down daily inspirations in a writer's journal. Here are some ideas to inspire you to keep your own peronalised writer's notebook.
A writer’s journal, diary, or notebook is a personal document which records inspirations as they surface using various descriptive devices. Because a writer’s notebook is personal, it means that the notebook itself may take on any form the writer sees fit. Some writers use Dictaphones to record their thoughts, while others like to scribble notes in a leather-bound journal. The trick when choosing what notebook method works for you is to allow your personality to shine through in your choice. Choose a note-taking method that is most accessible to you and one that feels comfortable and ‘right’.
